Aspects, explained

Every Anima has an Aspect. Open the Aspect chip on a creature’s page to find others that share it. For example, Umpurrella belongs to Beauty. Use the comparison tool to look at candidates together rather than judging them from their artwork alone.

These Aspects form opposing pairs: Beauty ↔ Ugliness · Dark ↔ Light · Hate ↔ Love · Insatiability ↔ Satiation · Memory ↔ Oblivion. Each Aspect page links to both its own Anima and its opposite, so you can explore both sides without losing your place.

Start from a creature you like, then use the team builder to choose its companions. A Light/Dark starter team gives you a starting point to adjust. Read the opposing Aspects guide for what the pair indicators mean.

An Aspect is not a damage score or a complete team recommendation. Compare the creatures themselves and use the Aspect index to explore other possibilities.
